Hello there,
My name is Dave AKA Nocse Teipsum and my Alt Dr Freakazoid, I'm currently 32 going on 13 so my partner would say and have been playing Eve for over 2 years now. I have been a fan of Si-Fi and fantasy for as long as i can remember. I think my first influences were return of the Jedi which came to cinema when i was merely 2 and a series called Tripods which aired in the UK when i was around 3-5 years old. Obviously being an eighties child films such as the explorers, never ending story and labyrinth, cartoons like He-man, Jace and the wheeled warriers and dare i say it Ninja Turtles (Hero turtles UK) had a major impact on my psyche. No i did not try and break into the sewers to try and find them like many kids did!
I have Enjoyed and played most main stream games but prefer RPG'S like mass effect and Oblivian. I am currently thinking of taking holiday for the release of Skyrim with great anticipation. My life unfortunatly does not revolve around games, at 20 I joined the Army as a combat Engineer and physical training instructor. I served 7 years with rank and left to teach fitness and health to the general population (civies) I really enjoyed this but found the wages relatively poor. having spent 2 years at Bath University sports training village i decided to go into security and this is where i have been since. Exciting hey...........? why Blog? well i have enjoyed writing in the past mostly poetry for which i have had international recognition. How ever i dont concider my self to be any good and do it more for personal expression and creativness but if you like any of it let me know : ) i am extremely self critical. Also my spelling and gramer are awlfull sorry....< Grammar : )
I think Eve online is fantastic and hope to get more friends and family involved so far i have converted 3 freinds my brother and even my Dad who is 67 so i is... : ) not doing too bad. Its not just the expansive deatail, PvP or game engineering that grips me but also the awesome comunity and team work that this dark, dog eat dog world presents us with.
