Friday night fun time
So Friday night three of us got together around my house for a few hours to do some (drinking) Pvping. Although Eve is an internet game, the fun and enjoyment you can have as a small group playing in the same room are fantastic Eve nights are definitely something I would encourage. We had planed a small roam in a crow a Cerberus and I was in an Armageddon, quite random I know. Where should we go for this first Corp Pvp op we asked our self’s?.....I know how about Tama one of the busiest pirate and faction warfare systems around lol Ok the others agreed with a suicidal tone to their eager voices. To be honest Tama has seen better, busier times from what my friends tell me very few FW fleets are forming up other than those based as a corp. this seems a great shame as this is how I got started in PvP. Perhaps it is a lack of people willing to FC or a lack of new players willing to give PvP a go? Or maybe both. Would Eve players benefit from some sort of PvP tutorial? Or maybe even an arena area where specific value ships can fight out 1v1 or even as a team like alliance tourdement? Anyways Flint threw himself forward for the position of lead scout.................lol your in the smallest ship flint and you have tackle : ) and I and my brother took a back seat… rear guard..... I mean support roles. Flint jumped, nothing on gate, 20 or so in local varying sec status from mission happy bunny angel +5 to -9.9 im going to tear you and your ship a new exhaust port status and wear your teeth as a luck charm. Me and bro jumped through and decided to camp the hi sec gate. This seemed a logical strategic position with an easy escape route provided we did not engage of course. Within 5 mins a flashy red Myrma gal ship battle cruiser thingy landed on us and locked me. At this stage as FC I had not decided to attack and while summing up all the very important and complicated FC pvp equations I could see what looked like flaming tooth picks cheerfully leaving flints crow (yes leaving, like a rabbit leaves a magicians hat (CCP) and gracefully denting (possibly too strong a description) blushing the pirates thick armour plates, or shields decision time Freak!.... Have you got point? I mumbled through a mouth full of cider (Cidre if Gallenten).....YES!! Fire at will ..... now It’s a fairly tough ship but what he may not of counted on was my heavy neut and the fact that my bro was cloaked up 10 clicks out in his shiny Cerberus, like a Klingon bird of pray he popped out of the abyss and let rip with his heavy assaults ..........Kaboom The corps first BC pvp Kill awesome guys. We roamed a few more systems. No more kills that night but no losses either. We had a great time though with just the one kill.

Sleep Whispered Words
Soft rest at dusk fear not my love
If forgotten by day let rain from above
Wash away with Gods will
And man's might fiery spear
Sleep whispered words
Forever your near
Red may dawn bring as a rose grows to bloom
My thorn has not parted in self silent doom
It's seeds may you bare
Pray tender them well
Remember my peace where poppy fields dwell
Found on the body of an unidentified Caldari soldier
If forgotten by day let rain from above
Wash away with Gods will
And man's might fiery spear
Sleep whispered words
Forever your near
Red may dawn bring as a rose grows to bloom
My thorn has not parted in self silent doom
It's seeds may you bare
Pray tender them well
Remember my peace where poppy fields dwell
Found on the body of an unidentified Caldari soldier

Waiting for God (a Caldari soldier)
Is this all in vain
For the break of day
Terminal tracks across the plain
Give wreak less scars to all who engage in hierarchy games
From orbit they sit with their double names
And letters to add
That reach loved ones back home
Who believe with just cause
Un aware of the teadious nausea
Of standing by for a most vigorous lie
That we are all safe to Fly free
Not die
